Pne fine spot in CDMX to get a great overview over the maze of the town. The basilica de Guadalupe is great for that and to experience the worshipping of the Virgen de Guadalupe, who was instrumental to bring christianity to North and Southamerica. But the Mexicans have a very loving relationship to this legend...
First of all I want to said many thanks to legendary lomographer Herr Willie Schumann a.k.a. @wil6ka for give me the chance to taste this 10 roll precious 120 film. Very sorry it not turn out great photo 🙏 in 2019 I win some rumble at competition section at lomography.com which prize some piggies (discount at lomography online shop). The big problem is I don't have a credit card. So I type at shoutbox if is there anybody want to exchange their film with my piggies. Suddenly I got a message from wil6ka, said that he will exchange 10 roll of his 120 film with my piggies code. OMG this is a big prize for me. Offcourse I accepted it. After use one roll of it, suddenly covid 19 were attacked my country on March, 2020. It really killed my lomowalk desire beside the police were prohibited us to go outside in a long time. One day in a covid era I bought some film at @juniardigiugno because he gave me some lomofriend discount hehe also @ekeupratama asked me to do the lomowalk after many years. It made my lomowalk desire rise again. So many bad luck happened. One day I got a stomatchache when I arrived at Chandra Foto Bandung, my custom photo lab. I didn't realized that I gave the photolab employee the empty 120 film 😭 so I'm wasting one roll from 10 roll that wil6ka gave me. Then other film was blank. No photo at all. Oh no, my Lubitel camera are totally broke 😵💫 like Mirna Arroyo's song "destroy everything you touch" 🥺 I always bad keep the precious thing. So only five roll from 10 roll that wil6ka gave me that I could process and scan. Once again many many thanks wil6ka
So my good friend Rohit from the incredible Heavy Metal Band Kryptos came to Hamburg and they asked to roady a little bit. Kryptos is one of the biggest Indian Heavy Metal bands. I also took my LCA 120 along to try out some shots. Not so easy, sometimes the flash didn't fire but creating some creative abstract shots. I learned a bit.
