Museo LagOmar 7 (Garden area)

LAGOMAR: Das Anwesen, auch bekannt als das Haus von OMAR SHARIF („Casa Omar Sharif”), ist in eine Felsformation aus Lavatuff eingepaßt. Es entstand aus der Zusammenarbeit zwischen César Manrique und seiner rechten Hand Jesús Soto und gehörte dem Schauspieler nur einen Tag lang, dann verlor er es in einem Spiel. Die einzelnen Zimmer sind in verschiedenen Höhen halb in die Felsen eingelassen und durch schmale und steile Treppen, teils im Inneren und teils frei, miteinander verbunden. Die Holzbalken stammen aus den Überresten von Schiffswracks, die an die Küste von Lanzarote gespült wurden. Es gibt eine Küche, ein Wohnzimmer, ein Schlafzimmer und ein Badezimmer, dazu allerlei Balkone und Nischen, und in der Mitte des Gartens an zentraler Stelle einen von Palmen umstandenen Swimmingpool. / LAGOMAR: The property, also known as the House of OMAR SHARIF (“Casa Omar Sharif”), is set into a rock formation of lava tuff. Born from the collaboration between César Manrique and his right-hand man Jesús Soto, it only belonged to the actor for a day, then he lost it in a game. The individual rooms are half-embedded in the rocks at different heights and are connected to each other by narrow and steep stairs, partly inside and partly free. The wooden beams come from the remains of shipwrecks that washed up on the coast of Lanzarote. There is a kitchen, a living room, a bedroom and a bathroom, as well as all sorts of balconies and niches, and in the middle of the garden there is a central swimming pool surrounded by palm trees.
